Devon Thomas Treadwell

I will always be grateful to David for being such a positive and influential person in my mother's life. She returned to California after my father passed away and met David somewhere along her travels in SDA singles circles. They became good friends, and he was the one who suggested that she get her license as a nursing home administrator, which she did. This gave her a real career and stable support for my siblings still living at home. I have lived most of my adult life away from California, but after meeting David, and seeing how my mother's friendship with him and many other singles led to extensive travel and a rich variety of experiences for her, I never worried about her being lonely. And after Lorraine passed away in 2017, it was David who organized her memorial service, giving her the send-off she had wanted. David's life and spirit had a wide impact, and he spread so much joy. He will be so missed. Thank you, David, for being you.
