For about three decades David and I shared a remarkable friendship. It began while we served on the Board of the A+ Adventist School and continued until the day of his untimely passing. David was a true friend. He could always be counted upon for interesting conversation, a laugh, and being a wonderful listener and advisor. Having read the Bible several times, David and I discussed his insightful and analytical thoughts on religion, history and society. His optimism inspired me. David helped me many times, via his creative ideas, which I then implemented into various organizations. Lately, we spent countless hours on the phone having long conversations punctuated by laughter and thoughtful observations. I will miss all of that, and David, so very much.
